Description
Amidst the intricate web of human behavior, values, and rights, three critical domains converge: sexual ethics, bioethics, and religious ethics. These fields frequently intersect, sometimes harmoniously and at other times contentiously, raising the question of the feasibility of a universally accepted sexual ethics. This open workshop aims to discuss and explore the Convergence and Tensions of Bioethical, Sexual, and Religious Paradigms in various issues, including: Cultural and Religious Marriage Practices, Sexual Education Paradigms, Transgender and Gender Identity Issues, Sexual Ethics and Genetic Research Ethics, Sexual Ethics between Patient’s Autonomy and Physician’s Conscience.
We aim to engage in a constructive dialogue shedding light on the overlapping territories of these domains and gauging the possibility and limitations of arriving at a universally accepted set of sexual ethics
