The 17th World Congress of Bioethics (WCB) was held from 3–6 June 2024 in Doha, Qatar, under the theme “Religion, Culture, and Global Bioethics”. Organized by the Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) in collaboration with the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), this landmark edition brought together diverse voices from across the globe to engage in dialogue at the intersection of religion, culture, and bioethics.
This section features recordings, presentations, and materials from the Congress sessions—offering open access to the insights, discussions, and contributions that shaped this unique event.
By hosting WCB 2024 in the Arab-Muslim world, the Congress expanded the global bioethics conversation and amplified underrepresented perspectives. Key topics explored included AI and emerging technologies, post-pandemic ethical challenges, and culturally grounded approaches to bioethical inquiry.
