Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) invites prospective students to its Graduate Studies Open House on November 26, offering the opportunity to explore the university’s diverse and innovative graduate programs.

As part of this event, we are pleased to highlight the Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Islamic Ethics, the first program of its kind worldwide. This pioneering degree examines how Islam, as a global religion with a rich moral heritage, engages with and contributes to contemporary ethical debates. The program combines theoretical rigor with practical application, drawing on interdisciplinary approaches rooted in the Islamic tradition and informed by culturally sensitive contexts. It is led by a distinguished faculty of internationally recognized experts who actively consult for national and global policy bodies.

During the Open House, the Program Director and Associate Professor of Methodology and Ethics  for the MA in Applied Islamic Ethics Dr. Mutaz Alkhatib will deliver a dedicated presentation and answer questions from prospective applicants, providing valuable insights into the curriculum, learning experience, and career pathways.

We invite all interested participants to join, engage with faculty, and discover what sets this program apart.
