CILE Center in collaboration with Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is organizing an international academic conference entitled "AI Ethics: The Convergence of Technology and Diverse Moral Traditions."
This event aims to bring together scholars, policymakers, technologists, and practitioners to examine the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence (AI) through the lens of diverse philosophical, religious, and cultural traditions.

The conference addresses the multifaceted ethical implications of AI across six thematic domains: healthcare, security, urban design, finance, work, and education. Each theme highlights areas where technological developments intersect with normative questions and where ethical reflection can inform public discourse and policy-making.
Participants will engage via keynote addresses, thematic panels, and round table discussions designed to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue about how AI can uphold human dignity and embody the ethical insights of global moral traditions.
