Launch of a transnational movement: Resistance & Alternative

On January 20, 2018, 150 delegates from 35 countries met in Paris to launch a new transnational movement called Resistance & Alternative.
This movement represents the commitment of several grassroots networks. Its objective is to spread a critical and positive view of the world through an active resistance against all forms of alienation.
Our movement rejects all ideologies that enslave and dehumanize people. It condemns all forms of injustice and compromise, including those committed by Muslims.
This movement aims to put God at the center of our lives, to challenge the global system, and to create spaces of reflection, training and action that provide alternatives in different fields such as Islamic sciences, psychology, philosophy, economics, politics, arts and culture, etc.

Coming stages

  • A global communication and membership campaign will be launched in different countries.
  • Launch of a trilingual online media (French, English, Arabic).
  • Set up training programs in the different linguistic and geographic areas where Resistance & Alternative is already established.
