Noor Al Malki Al Jehani is the Executive Director of Doha International Family Institute, at the Qatar Foundation. She is also an expert on the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the first woman from the Gulf Cooperation Council to be elected to this committee. Before joining Qatar Foundation, she was the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Qatar. She has a long experience in working to advance the rights and wellbeing of women and families in Qatar and the Arab region. She has also contributed to the development of various national social strategies, policies and legislations including Qatar first National Development Strategy.
