Haneen is currently enrolled in the MA in Islamic Thought and Applied Ethics at Hamad bin Khalifa University. Her thesis is entitled The role of habituation in changing the individual’s character traits in Islamic ethics. She is an alumna of the “Teach for Qatar” organization and taught science education in Qatari public schools between 2018-2020. She obtained a BA in occupational therapy from the University of Jordan in 2017.
