Dr. Sheikh Saad Dine El Otmani is a Moroccan Psychiatrist. He completed a Masters in Islamic sciences in 1999. He was general Secretary of the Justice and Development party (PJD) from 2004 to 2008, and was member of the First Chamber of Parliament of Morocco from 1997 to 2011, and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is Member of the Ethics Committee for Biomedical Research in the faculty of medicine in Casablanca. His recently published book is "Religion and Politics: Distinction not Separation", in Arabic.
