Chafik Akreker is a member of the Educational Supervisory Board for Philosophy at the Ministry of Education in Morocco. He is interested in the fields of ethics, the philosophy of religion, critical thought, and the teaching of philosophy. They are areas in which he has published various books and articles. He holds a Fulbright Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in the United States and is preparing a PhD on ethical autonomy in Islamic thought and philosophy.
