Saadia Izzeldin Malik is an Assistant Professor of Mass Communication at the Department of Mass Communication at Qatar University, joining in 2007. Prior to this, she was at the University of Kansas, USA. Dr. Malik’s current research interests include the examination of the representation of women in the media, communication and media studies, media ethics, global communication, popular culture, postcolonial studies, and subaltern studies.
<p>The Center for Islamic Legislation & Ethics (CILE) held its second annual international conference under the title "Ethics in a Changing World: Contemporary Perspectives" during the period 15-16 March 2014, Doha, Qatar.
