Dr. Rasjid Skinner

Dr Rasjid Skinner read Anthropology and Psychology at Durham University before Anthropology research and then training in Clinical Psychology at Queens University, Belfast. He also trained in Jungian Analysis. He works as a hospital Consultant in Bradford, U.K., holds the Visiting Chair in Clinical Psychology at Karachi University, and teaches at The Muslim College Cambridge and Sheffield University. He helped set up  ‘Ihsaan’,  a charitable organization that provides expert psychological therapies from an Islamic model. He converted to Islam in 1977, and was for some years President of The Association for British Muslims.
