Dr. Aisha Al Mannai
Director of the Muhammad Bin Hamad Al Thani Center for Muslim Contribution to Civilization (CMCC)

Dr. Aisha Al Mannai received her Bachelors in the Fundamentals of Islamic Creed and Islamic Philosophy from Qatar University and her Masters and Ph.D. from al-Azhar University. She assumed the office of the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Shariah at Qatar University to become the first woman holding this position in the Arab gulf region. She also occupies several leading posts in a number of associations and centers in Qatar including: Director of Muslim Contributions to Civilization in Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies in Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Member of the Board of directors of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs, Member of the Board of Trustees for the State Incentive Award and the State Appreciation Award, Vice-Chairman of the Qatar Red Crescent, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Arwa Independent Secondary School, and Member of the World Assembly for the Rapprochement of Islamic Schools of Law.
