Adis Duderija is a Senior Visiting Lecturer, Gender Studies Program at the Malaya University. He is the author of Constructing a Religiously Ideal "Believer" and "Woman" in Islam (Palgrave, 2011); also “Maqasid al Shari'a and Contemporary Muslim Reformist Thought” (Palgrave, 2014). He has published extensively in areas of contemporary Islamic critical-progressive and neo- traditional salafi hermeneutics with a focus on gender, hadith studies, western Muslims and Islam and the Religious Other.
<p>The Center for Islamic Legislation & Ethics (CILE) held its second annual international conference under the title "Ethics in a Changing World: Contemporary Perspectives" during the period 15-16 March 2014, Doha, Qatar.
